why this matters…

  • 75% of American women engage in disordered eating behaviors (food restriction + dieting) out of a belief that it’s the healthy thing to do. (source)

  • 35% of “occasional dieters” progress into pathological dieting (i.e. disordered eating) and almost 25% will advance into full eating disorders. (source)

  • At least 30 million people of all ages + genders suffer from an eating disorder in the United States (source)

  • Dieting is only positively correlated with weight cycling + weight gain - not weight loss. (source)

  • Weight cycling (gaining + losing weight repeatedly) is correlated with inflammation + metabolic disturbances (blood pressure, blood sugar, etc.). (source)

All this to say… diets are risky + ineffective, and we won’t be putting you on one...

about Emily + Stephanie

Have you ever thought, “Maybe I just can’t trust myself with food?” It’s an incredibly common concern, and we’ve been there too…

…which is why we created Eat Confident Collective. We believe you already have all the tools you need to know how to eat and care for yourself…You might just need some practice, support + encouragement in doing so.

Here’s the truth: Solving your eating problems by adding more food rules doesn’t work. This approach ignores your body’s natural ability to know what it needs, creating a disconnection between you and your body. It also creates distrust and fear around food and weight.

We firmly believe that your body has your back - it knows exactly what it needs and what weight it wants to be. Your job, then, isn’t to count calories, track macros, follow a meal plan or micromanage your weight. Your job is only to listen to, connect with and practice respect for what your body is communicating to you. And that’s exactly what we’ll teach you how to do!

meet Emily

Emily Fonnesbeck is a Registered Dietitian and Nutrition Therapist living in Hyde Park, Utah with her husband and 4 kids. She owns a private practice with a professional focus on treating eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns and digestive issues. She knows how it feels to be confused, overwhelmed and frustrated with food while hating your body, which is why she is passionate about helping individuals just like you create a peaceful relationship with food and your body, building confidence in your own natural ability to know how to eat. Emily joined Stephanie in Eat Confident Co in 2018 and on the Eat With Confidence podcast in 2019.

Meet Stephanie

Stephanie Webb (MS) is a holistic nutritionist and certified eating psychology coach who works with women to take the guilt and stress out of healthy living. Stephanie is the co-founder of Eat Confident Co., an online group coaching program, and runs her own nutrition coaching practice. She is a host of the Eat with Confidence podcast and loves spreading her message of food + body confidence. She has worked with hundreds of women in her online coaching practice and also teaches live in-person workshops across the country. Stephanie lives in San Antonio, TX with her husband and three kids.
